Not sure if this is the right place to put this but for the past few years since I introduced myself to linux (Ubuntu), I have a great interest in it to the extend that I have not used windows in a long time. The only problem I have with Linux at the moment, is the ability to sync my phone with it. My previous N95 was able to sync contacts( with a tweak) with Ubuntu. Now, I purchased the N900 with the intention of being able to easily sync ( out of the box with ubuntu since it is a "linux phone") but with no luck. To sync, you'd have to go through hoops and through some server before you can sync your contacts and calendar with the phone and the computer. I do a lot of scheduling and would like to keep my linux system as my main OS. Is there a phone right now that you can purchase and be able to sync with your Ubuntu evolution, out of the box? By the way, anybody else have the N900? Are you able to sync with Evolution?
