    Sensors Applet Configuration

    Hi,
The fan speed is not displayed in Sensors applet. It just displays the temperatures. When I open Gnome Sensors Applet preferences it lists libsensors. But Properties is disabled. Any idea how to enable it.

Not sure if this is some how related but it looks like it possibly could be....:

right click on the applet, and go into preferences
in the sensors tab, expand Libsensors
and play around with it as much as you want!!!

    Re: Sensors Applet Configuration

Many laptop motherboards don't have very good (or sometimes any at all) sensor support. On this Toshiba laptop that I've been fixing for the owner, I can only get 2 temperature readings so far ("temp1" and [CPU] "THRM" and that actually sounds pretty good from what I've been reading about Toshiba laptops, fans, and temperature troubles).

I got a bunch of error messages while trying to get the sensors-applet installed using a lot of trial and error...
