Question Ubuntu netbook remix on Aspire one?

    Hi,
I'm wanting to buy a netbook, specificity an Acer Aspire one (160GB hdd, 1GB RAM, 10.1" screen, etc) And before I buy I wanted to know if Ubuntu Netbook Edition works on that machine, ie: drivers work without struggle, etc

    Cheers.

I have 9.10 remix on my D150 and everything worked out the box.

    So go for it.

I have two Aspire Ones, a D150 and a D250, with Ubuntu Netbook Remix 9.10 on both.

All the hardware works in Ubuntu Netbook Remix, except the "wireless on/off" slider switch on the front. I have no idea why, but the "switch" only works under Windows.

I have never had to deal with any drivers while using Netbook Remix on my Aspire One, and neither will you. Ubuntu installed the necessary stuff automagically.

Good to know Ubuntu will work.. No point buying it if it doesn't have Ubuntu!
