    Thumbs up basic guides

    Ok 100% NOOB here.

    I'm on deployment my laptop crashed and all the restore disks are back home in storage, time to learn open source.

    Any help on a good guide book i can order or any little tips for beginners like me?

    LOL sorry yeah by open source i meant Ubuntu, im running the 10.4 lucid i think it is, ty all for the links now i just need to find the time to read them i must admit, I'm having fun learning Ubuntu and this forum has been a huge help. Hell this is the first forum ive evr participated in lol.
