Right, sudo apt-get Nautilus yields
"E: Invalid Operation Nautilus"
???
I got the instruction manual and surprisingly there's no help for anything but Windows...
their online help is ludicrously bad and I know they're just going to tell me that Linux isn't supported.
I'm using a Windows XP emulator on here to play some games, is that of use?
"Nautilus" should be "nautilus". No capitals.
Edit: I was looking for instructions for telling device to reset itself to factory settings. If the nautilus file browser works, there will be no need to reformat/reset to factory defaults

Yeah, sorry, I should've been more clear - I just copied and pasted the text from your post, still not working though.
ok. Go to System>Administration>Synaptic Package Manager.
Install nautilus from there

I tried to download that and got this

500 Internal Server Error
try clicking the said link above
edit: never mind, link is errant.

404 Not found.
I've not really tinkered with Xubuntu much, I just use it for web/browsing and a bit of nerdery...
Not messed with any of the settings programmes... I'm feeling lost, thanks for trying.
