Can't get live disk to boot

if i remember when you boot from disc there is an option to check disc to see if all files are correct correct me if i,m wrong but i,m sure it,s on the disc

I can't even boot the disc, I've already changed the BIOS Boot Order and when I hit F10 at startup for the boot menu and select the disc drive it starts running windows... This has happened on 4 separate discs... If it's not the LiveDisc and I've already repaired all the registry on my machine, what else could it be?

Yep... I use Gizmo Manager, the slowest it will burn is 10x though...

if yo can get into windows i think nero dose it slower & it was an ISO burned as ISO image,
i burn mine at 4x

Do you think that the burnspeed will help all that much? or should I try wiping the HDD and doing a fresh install? I have accomplished ubuntu installation this way before...

Out of interest, did you get the x86 ISO or the AMD64? Can you remember?

if yo havn,t got anything much on it, I think i would try the burn 1st just to know I tried all possibilites future knowledge as well

I tried both the 32 and 64 bit programs for 9.4 and 9.10...
