Nautilus "expand all" in list view?

Browsing a list I want to expand all folders in the current list with one click. Is there an option I need to enable or a script that performs that action?

(yes, I read thru help files and man and forums)
    Cheers -Michael

Nope, there's an open bug in Launchpad about it. It's incorrectly marked as a duplicate and could use some votes.

    Hi,

I just found this one myself, select the highest level folder and press *

To expand the lower levels, keep pressing the * key.

    Regards,
    Slade.
