unable to Connect internet

Hi, Buddies

I was using Ubuntu 8.04.3 that time i was able to connet internet using MTNL Broadband sevice from Dlink ADSL - Modem,

Than i installed newer version (9.10) but now its not connecting to internet.

what will be the problem ?

I am not a expert in linux, i tried those things but its more difficult task.

Now i have Installed a new Copy of 9.04,

The Net connected Via ADSL but it is disconnecting Frequently,

and even after restarting Router it wont connect, it requires Rebooting of Machine.

Also while rebooting it shows some error in dos like window about some Blue-tooth Error.

Is there a bug in 9.04 coz on WinXp connection runs without disconnection

Is there a solution
