    where can i request ubuntu 64-bit?

    where can i request an ubuntu 64-bit cd for my laptop? i requested one on ubuntu.com, but it was 32-bit. how can i request 64-bit?

    i don't want to burn a cd myself. i want to request one and have them mail it.

    yeah. i used that, they shipped it, but it was 32-bit. how do i request a 64-bit one?

    I don't think they ship 64-bit versions any more. The ShipIt service is mostly intended for those who really don't have the possibility of downlaoding and burning the install CD themselves. I suppose Canonical assumes that those who have modern enough computer to run a 64-bit OS will also be able to download and burn their own disk.
