    Toshiba NB100

    Hey guys

I'd like to install Ubuntu on my Toshiba NB100, does anyone know of any issues with this Hardware/OS combination? Is a particular version of Ubuntu recommended (I'm using it for usual home computing stuff)? Also could anyone point me to instructions on installing from USB?

    Thanks!

I don't know anything about this model, but there is no difference in installing from usb stick as opposed to cd. The only difference is that you actually boot from usb stick.

I recommend you first select the Try Ubuntu option from the main menu and that will run it as live desktop. If there is anything it doesn't like about your hardware, it should show it. Try internet, sound, video, etc.

I have only one but unsolved problem - WiFi stop working after ~1Gb download from anywhere. It was strong bug in 9.10, and because it I've roll down to 9.04.
