Main Password: How to change?

I want to change my main password. I chose a password that is difficult and have to type this long password in everytime I want to do something- so troublesome! I want to change my password. I already tried Applications > Accesories > Passwords and encryption keys. I changed the only password there, but it seems I must change it elsewhere?

Hey Open a terminal and type in

passwd

It should ask for your old password, and then for a new password.
