Exclamation New zaurus and other pda's thread

    Dear Friends,

With all the new Linux PDA's out there, and the huge number of very knowledgeable people on these forums, I am surprised how little information there is on connecting the Sharp Zaurus and other Linux-based PDA's to the desktop Ubuntu boxes. in fact, this information is scarcer than honest politicians!!!

    So... HELP!!!!!

Mine is a Sharp Zaurus SL-5600. When I plug in with my desktop cradle via its USB connector, the network connections on the desktop resets itself, and then I have 2 Ethernet connections. But the Zaurus is unreachable.

    Desktop is running Ubuntu 9.10.

Thanks in advance for any input!
