    Xerox Printer trouble

    Hi all

I have a Xerox Phaser Mpf3200 laser printer. When I connected it to my pc Ubuntu recognized it and it seemed if all drivers where installed when I checked printer config options. However, when I tried to print a page it continuously printed incomprehensible pages and I took the pages out the printer to stop printing garbage.

The printer does come with drivers for Linux, but only for Red Hat and Fedora.

    Thanks!

    Re: Xerox Printer trouble

    hallo en welkom,

you can get the ppd from the xerox site: http://www.support.xerox.com/go/getf...ownload&uType=

i believe that's all you require using cups.
otherwise, download the generic driver installer for linux here: http://www.support.xerox.com/go/getf...ownload&uType=
