Hi all.

Can anybody recommend a basic PCI sound card that:

a) works great with Ubuntu, and
b) has an AC '97/HD audio port on it for connecting the front headphone/mic jacks of a desktop computer

Googling, I've found some that seem to work great with Ubuntu, but none with the port on it. I don't need anything fancy at all...just plain old stereo sound.
