OpenGL Programming with my setup
As part of my university course we are doing some OpenGL Programming with OpenGL under Fedora 7.
I have attempted to install the latest version of Fedora (FC12) on my home machine, so that I could continue working at home - however I have an ATI graphics card, which apparently does not have driver support under Fedora.
Ubuntu was reccomened to me by a friend, so my question is this; with my current hardware, will Ubuntu allow me to setup an OpenGL programming environment, including support for my graphics card?
Here is my hardware:
CPU: Intel i7-920
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-EX58-DS4
GPU: Radeon HD4870 1GB
Thanks in advance for the expertise
