Transmission 1.82

I'm trying to install the new version of transmission on a 9.04 machine. I have never messed with my sources.lst file, but it looks like I will need to in order to get things working properly. How can I do this?

Here is a reference to what I am referring to. It looks like you need the lucid repos in order to update Transmission successfully. How do you update 9.04 to pull from the 10.04 repos?
