    Broadcom wifi card problem

Let me start by saying I've yet to have a problem with any Broadcom card until now. It either just works, or needs Ndiswrapper or b43cutter to work.

I just got an Acer Aspire 3003WLMi laptop and tried installing 9.04. After the install, wireless didn't work at all. Tried Ndiswrapper with the correct Windows driver. Nothing.

Uninstalled it, and installed the b43cutter. Install went fine, and it supposedly got the firmware. After the install, the wireless light lit up, so I thought it would work after a reboot.

Rebooted, and nothing. Light was lit, but not seeing my router when I was sitting next to it.

    Any ideas?

    It's a BCM 4318 AirForce One, BTW.

This looks interesting, it appears to work for several people with the BCM4318 cards.
