    Why dont my mp3's work?

    I have a entire library from my winXP days and theyre all mp3's but banshee and rythmbox wont play them! Do I need a codec or something? Please help!

    You need to install the package "ubuntu-restricted-extras"

    omg im such a dumbass! I have my whole library in a seperate drive and I never realized that I have to mount it in order to be able to use them. Sorry I had to be an idiot!
