Hardware upgrade recomendations?

I went to this page and used the specified terminal code, the results were.....

Sorry about the large amount of text thing...Kinda a noob here. So if my graphics drivers look fine, what else does anyone suppose could be eating up my resources?

Ok Iv now worked right through all the code on that page then rebooted. Iv now got desktop effects workingYAY!!!!!!
(although at the "extra" level of effect, movement is slow and jerky)

However, I have now lost the ability to run things at full screen, when I try I get the title bar at the top of the window but the rest of the window is blank black, desktop wall paper included

But when I go back to no effect, then I get full screen ability back. So maybe I got to pick one or the other....

I checked out that page, do the terms unsupported and untrusted usually appear on PPA pages? Is this reason to be concerned?

Post the output of the glxinfo command like you did before. (use [ code ][ /code ])
Also, /var/log/Xorg.0.log might be helpful (again, use code tags)
