Grid Wars 2 is there 64bit version?

Is there a 64bit version of Grid Wars 2?
If not how can it be installed on a 64bit machine?

here you can get a 64-bit version for Intrepid or Hardy. both should work under Karmic, so get whichever you like.

However, the game doesn't work right out of the box because it needs some older version of libstdc. I'm trying to solve this, and will post a reply if I do.
