Chocolate-Covered Ubuntu Beans
Ubuntu is getting some rather big mentions, and with 1 million members to the forum coming up I think we should search for our biggest cheerleader* and officially honor that person with some kind of award.
My entry has to go to Jamie Hyneman of Mythbusters fame for recommending Ubuntu in Popular Mechanics.
* biggest being defined as the most wellknown/influential person who confirms using Ubuntu and/or recommends it.

I try to treat the cause, not the symptom. I avoid the terminal in instructions, unless it's easier or necessary. My instructions will work within the Ubuntu system, instead of breaking or subverting it. Those are the three guarantees to the helpee.
