Help needed on installing Parted on 10.04!

Hi,

I'm on ubuntu 10.04 and my Parted version is 2.2
I'd like to install 2.3 ou later

Does someone knows if this is possible and how to do it?

All I am finding for 10o4 is the 2.2 package.

Get the source of parted 2.3 and have a own build but thats not going to provide you updates and software though .

Can you clarify what you mean with the software part?..

I can live with no updates on this.
