    Customize CPU scaling (volt, frequency)

    Hello.

My processor AMD Phenom 2 x4 940 supports four powersaving states.
    cat scaling_available_frequencies
    3000000 2300000 1800000 800000

I'd like to be able to modify these. In Windows I use K10Stat software in order to change the different P-states frequency and voltage. Is it possible to do this in Ubuntu, preferably in a GUI? And being able to change between profiles (Gaming, surfing), with different P-states.

This CPU uses the driver powernow-k8.

This thread might belong in Hardware forums, but I wasn't sure.
Ondemand works, and it changes between the available frequencies.

Edit: Found k10ctl, might be what I'm looking for.
