internet and lan both working in jerks
Hi buddies...I have ubuntu 9.04 installed on my PC,and I have configured my lan settings by modifying the /etc/networking/interfaces file.......and i can connect to the internet,but it works in jerks,i mean it works for some seconds,then halts,and then starts working again.........this happens all the time.Moreover,while the net is stuck,i can't even connect to a local hub on lan using linuxdcpp......so basically its some sort of a lan problem.....lan works perfectly fine on the same box in windows7 installed side by side with ubuntu,and internet too is fine.....i have been using ubuntu for more than a year now...but never had this kind of a strange problem.Another thing,i tried koala before resorting back to jaunty,and i had the same problem there even.
any solutions???
