media player sort by number of songs?

I've been searching forever for a media player that can sort my music library based on the number of tracks/albums by each artist.
I like to use my library like this, naturally because I have more songs by the artists I listen to more often.
This is a basic functionality in winamp, and I have tried it under wine, but it is really just too buggy, especially with the size of my library (8000+ songs).
This really seems like a feature that most players should have.. please help..!
