Recovering an old IP address of a site that used to be

    Hi,

I'm using Firefox on Linux. Is there some way to recover the IP address of a site that no longer exists? I have it in my browsing history. Either that or is there like some record of what DNS servers used to have somewhere on the internet? (perhaps google)

There is a site I used to visit, but the DNS name stopped working and gives me a "site not found" error, but I heard you can still connect to it by using the IP address. I can't find how to obtain this info...

    Thanks
    Xorlium

Why not tell us the site and see if someone knows it or where it has gone to?
