I hate using windows when I use computers at other places, so I thought maybe I could bring a different operating system with me. Slax Seemed like a good option. So I downloaded slax for usb, and extracted the archive to my Ipod shuffle, and ran bootinst.sh from the /boot directory, but this is what I got:
Code:
Setting up boot record for /dev/sdb...
/dev/sdb: only 512-byte sectors are supported
Any idea why this happened? Is it something to do with the amount of space on my Ipod?
(Sorry if this is the wrong thread, I was thinking it might go in "Installation and Upgrades," but it said only Ubuntu/Kubuntu/Edubuntu/etc.)
