    Nautilus looks ›odd‹ now.

    Somehow less balanced, less polished.

The only difference is the Zoom/View mode buttons and the Toggle button are moved/removed.

    Its an improvement imo.

I mostly dislike the 1px borders and the changed divider.

But there are more changes. Opening this new Nautilus gave me a mild shock. Could have been amplified by my theme though.

I wouldn't have known any difference if you hadn't told me. Looks ok to me.

Its mostly just attatching stuff specific to that folder view, to that box. This allows you to now press F3 to get split view.

Seems like the second screenshot (bottom) is actually the result of a lot of bugfixing (look closely at the top one to see a lot of misalignment in the Places sidebar/menu) but it introduces issues of its own as well:

The places menu/sidebar itself no longer aligns properly (look at how Places is not aligned with [adii] button in location buttons/bar also look at how the selected item is misaligned with the file view.

    Great‽

If I want two folders open I can open two windows. They just had to mess with the Feng Shui of Nautilus it seems.

I see it coming. Gnome 3 will be a disaster.
