    Gnome-do Docky & Pidgin notification

Is there any way I can get a notification in Gnome-do Docky whenever I get a new message in Pidgin? Currently my only option is to keep my pidgin window open for the same. If I minimize it, there is no way for me to know if I got a new message or not.

I dont know about gnome-do, but under the interface tab of the preferences, you can choose to always show a notification icon. this will put an icon in the notification area of your computer, and will change and blink when you get a new message. Also, if you have sound, a sound should play when getting a new message, and you should get a system notification popup in one of your screen corners.

    Unless your talking about empathy.

    Hope i could help.
