Looks sweet - I might have to fiddle around with it myself. Is there still an option to fall back to the textual prompt if need be (say, to go into a RT kernel)?
Hotkeys defined in sora theme:
e - edit current menu command (ctrl-x to finish)
t - edit current menu title (ctrl-x to finish)
c - open terminal window (esc to quit)
2 - open two terminal windows (esc to quit, F6 to switch between them)
h - display help dialog
i - display about dialog
F8 - toggle between text and graphic mode
F9 - halt
F10 - reboot
I can't get this to work. Too many files to edit and still not enough info on what I need to do.
;_;
Actually with ppa5, the process is greatly simplified, you don't need to modify files any more. Here are the steps:
1, install ppa5, and install BURG to mbr/bs.
2, download theme files from the files section of
http://groups.google.com/group/burg-devel
and extract to /boot/grub:
3, edit /boot/default/grub, add these two lines at the end:Code:cd /boot/grub sudo tar xzf ~/theme_default.tar.gz sudo tar xzf ~/theme_sora.tar.gz sudo tar xzf ~/theme_chiva.tar.gz
4, Run update-grub.Code:GRUB_THEME=sora GRUB_GFXMODE=1024x768
The value of GRUB_THEME can be one of these:
proto, ubuntu, winter, sora, sora/clean, sora/extended, chiva

I'm trying PHP, so my code can probably be labelled "bad and insecure"
I've installed that theme, but loading process is very slow.
