I think you should have just supplied: www.google.com and a message that this is an Ubuntu forum, not a general forum for people too lazy to find things for themselves.

I like the KISS philosophy. This is a thread in the General Help forum & it's tagged as other_os.

The OP asked for a tutorial & I posted a link to one.

But yes, you are right, if one wants to install & use arch, he/she needs to improve his/her google skills.

Too many people seem to think that the Ubuntu "General Help" forum is for anything up to cooking their dinner, it specifically says at the top of the Forum:

All your general support questions for Ubuntu, Kubuntu, Edubuntu and Xubuntu.

It would be a lot less cluttered and therefore easier to actually help people with genuine *buntu problems if people observed this basic, clear condition.

I feel sorry for those users with pressing Ubuntu problems whose posts get shoved further down the screens by people who misuse this forum.

    Are you tilting at windmills?

If so, the best weapon is education.

EDIT: I mean we should educate new members.

EDIT2: After all One must imagine Sisyphus happy.

    1. Probably.
    2. Agreed, but too many people just answer these inappropriate questions without ever trying to "educate" those asking them. All this does is encourage more of the same.
