    Brasero

Ive got a weird burning issue. I am burning an ISO of Ubuntu 9.10 amd 64 desktop edition. I am using the same operating system but need to burn the ISO to do a clean install. My Specs

    Ubuntu 9.10 (karmic)
AMD Turion(tm) II Ultra Dual-Core Mobile
    L2 Cache 1024
    4 GIG Ram
    Cd-drive: Hp DVDRAM GT20L

here is the log file that shows up every iso burn fail.

    Re: Brasero

To rule out hardware/media problems install GnomeBaker. If that works there is a problem with Brasero. If gnomebaker fails try re-burning the iso at a slower speed (4x).

    Hi.

Did you succeed? I have the EXACT!!! same problem

Would love to know if you worked around it.
I will try to burn something else but it seems nothing is really burning fine.

gnomebaker also uses the wodim backend, so xfburn might be a better choice for comparison.
