    Can you provide a link to the software you found? I would like to take a crack at it.

    I have a HD indicator but I have ubuntu installed on my 32gb class 10 SD card, which is not linked with the HD indicator.

    I found this. I don't remember what I used in Vista.
    As for where I have looked, I have searched wherever I could. Some forum suggested to use ledcontrol and gled packages, but I could not make the head or tail of it.
