Question MIME type defines and icons...

Hello, has anyone ever edited mime type definitions to get a custom icon??? I'm desiring to do this with my .gawk files. I've found a link here but it doesn't do anything when I create those files! Not much in the forums either

    TIA,
    Barrie

    Edit: This might help!

    user.mime
    Code:
    application/x-gawk
            ext: gawk
    user.keys
    Code:
    gawk:
            icon-filename=/home/barrie/Pictures/icons/gawk.png
