I have now ubuntu 9.10 on my IBM Netvista 8305 with Intelmotherboard with soundcard integrated
I get this from a shell command:
"intel 82801DB-ICH4 - IEC958"

I have tried to shift volumes in alsamixer - with no soundeffect.

I had the soundworking under Windows XP (I had to download a driver from IBM support site though).

What can I do to get it work?
