log memory usage
hi,
i am running freesurfer (brain scan transformations) here, and i was wondering if there was an easy way to log my system's memory usage during that (takes 24 hours). what i am primarily interested in is the maximum memory usage, so i know if more ram would be of use.
As you can see from my history, i was once an enthusiastic ubuntu user. I would hereby like to assert that i no longer recommend using ubuntu to anyone. I recommend using one of the many distributions that do not include ad-/spyware by default.
