Exclamation Audio Compression is too much in GTK-RECORD MY DEKSTOP

Hello all of the Ubuntu Community.

I would like to quickly ask you a question. I am trying desperatly to create tutorials on the internet (youtube) about using Ubuntu, however I have encountered a problem with the screen recording tool.

I have Ubuntu 9.10 and the screen recording tool I am using is GTK-RECORDMYDESKTOP. I have downloaded many other tools aswell, however none have been able to solve my problem:-

I want to make the compression of the audio equivilent to the compression of my video.
Whenever I make a video with GTK it just makes my voice squicky because it compresses it too much, and then I have a 2:10 minute audio with a 2:50 video.

Please I need your help, with a tool, with some guides of configuring GTK, or simply with .... well just help me please.

Try 'recorditnow' app, some people have better luck on that
