    Gnome-terminal Problems

    Ok i had a crash...

    Since the crash my terminals history encoding has changed.. which is a pain in the ****...

    example..

    physics@physics:/$ history 20

    How to rectify the problem ??? have some commands in history i cant rem and i need them..

    Any Ideas

    type "reset". Or the terminal window menu will have a sub-menu that says reset and clear. Use that.

    Also while in the terminal click on "terminal tab and make sure that your character encoding is set right, mine is set to "Unicode" (UTF-8) if that helps any.

    UTF-Shades I dont have that one yet...

    Tho, in reality that it probably UTF-8 (UTF-Eight)
