    Panel problems

Take a look at my screenshot:

    1. How can I make the area by my clock and sound icon etc. green like the rest of the panel? I don't like that gray background color and it bothers me that it doesn't match the rest of the panel.

    2. While cleaning up the panel, I accidentally removed the application window thing. Notice how I have firefox open but you can't tell by looking at the taskbar/panel. I looked in the "add to panel" but I didn't see it listed there

I'm actually using Linux Mint 8 but since it's ubuntu based it should be the same on both I'm assuming.

Your screenshot didn't make it to your post for some reason. Was it an oversight, or are you knowing how to do it? Well, I guess you know HOW, I see all those beans. You've been around for awhile. LOL

Well the window list is pretty easy, right click on the bar, then click add to panel, then you will want the window list. As for the color, I can't help with that sorry.

Found it, thanks. I swear I looked all over for that....

Unfortunately, it still has the same gray area like the clock. Hopefully if I can fix one I can fix the other....
