So, TS3 is officially rubbish. They have to go GPL if they don't want to become even sh**tier than they already are
Works for me. The only real big difference between Teamspeak and Mumble is file transfer. At least they post binaries on their front page unlike the Mumble team.

Even though that's true - we're in a Linux/FOSS community, TS for Linux has always been kind of b0rked in one way or another, we have a GPL replacement that runs smoother on all platforms - what were the benefits of using TS again? Even if they manage to smooth TS3 out for the gold release on Linux, what do we gain? Except for the obvious fact that we can use TS3 smoothly, since a lot of people still use it and it's often a must if you play multiplayer games, let alone MMORPG's. If I had the choice though, I'd go with something else.Bah, you always hear the complainers the loudest and TS3 is still beta.
I can confirm it didn't work and just ate CPU like crazy until I recompiled ALSA from source. I have ALSA 1.0.22 installed now, ran alsaconfig, set my card up in it, works like a charm now.
If you have problems with it try recompiling ALSA, worked for me.
