    where is it

    hello I installed computertemp from synaptic but cant find the exec for it I checked usr/bin usr/share where else would it be.

    Probably /sbin or /usr/sbin

    Is there a particular reason you want to find the executable? Computertemp is a gnome panel applet. If you want to run it, you simply right-click on a panel, select 'add to panel' and add it. It runs in the panel.

    And a nice little app it is too.

    Ok I still cannot find this program maybe there is another program that can give cpu temps because my cpu is overclocked.

    Edit: OK, you've found it. It's actually a python script, not an executable.

    Hint: /usr/lib/pymodules/python2.6/computertemp
