    can i make ubuntu 0910 play an am login sound and pm sound?

    Hi;

    pretty much as per the title really, is there a way i can get my ubuntu 910 to play a different sound file if the local system time is am or pm?

    Thanks

    I dont think so, at leat i havent found that option.

    but i wonder how that could be accomplished withoud messing arround to mutch.

    mmm does an script that launces at the start that modifies the name of a file works, like switching the names of the files, triking it to play the one you want.
    But you would have to be sure it launched before the search for the sound...and i dont know if it launches before.....

    doing that would be nice.
    if it doenst exist it would be a nice idea to implement.

    You could probibly request it as a wishlist in launchpad or add it as an idea in ubuntu brainstorm.

    Otherwise you would have to write a script to do it.
