I am a new ubuntu user.
When using *******I rely allot on SUPER by eRightSoft.

I have read around a bit and apparently Super does not have a Linux version as it basically is a front end for tools that are already available in Linux.

Can you suggest an alternative GUI or a guide wher I can learn the commands say for converting MPEG to AVI, to DivX and FLAC to mp3 etc.

Thanks mute, I have VLC and use it all the time for watching dexter! I forgot it could do conversions
