I am not familiar with installing this driver.
However you can make directories from the terminal with the mkdir command.
For instance, this command will create a directory called ppd in /usr/share/
If you need to move a file, you can use the mv command
sudo mkdir /usr/share/ppd
For instance this will move printer.ppd to /usr/share/ppd
"sudo" is used because you are changing system files and need the appropriate permission to do so. You will need to enter your password at the prompt and hit enter.
sudo mv printer.ppd /usr/share/ppd/
