    Pangolin display question

    Hello,

I have a panp5 running Jaunty. The display has always been a little quirky, in that some elements of many windows do not display until I mouse over them. For example, in openoffice some of the buttons on the toolbar become invisible until I mouse over them.

Is this a common problem, and if so is there a simple fix? If you need more to go on, I will watch for it and take some screenshots today. Thanks.

    Re: Pangolin display question

Please see if this happens if you turn off desktop effects (System > Preferences > Appearance > Visual Effects > None).

    Does that fix it?

If it *does* have you made custom configurations to your desktop effects?

If *yes* then you might have some buggy module enabled.
To err is human, to forgive is very ... dog-like.
