New computer, but keyboard does not work help!

Hi guys,

I just put together my first computer!!!, anyways I finally got it up and running installed Ubuntu no problem. However, for some reason I cant get my new HP Wireless elite keyboard, working. I am stuck with a sucky corded keyboard. Anyways, my Bios recognizes that there a USB device plunged in.. however it thinks my keyboard is a mouse. I have ASus M4A785TD V EVO motherboard if that helps. I know that this keyboard is also sold as a mouse and keyboard package, so maybe it has something to do with that. I have a separate logitech wireless mouse that works just fine.

Any suggestions? I want my new keyboard working on my new computer.

betcha the wireless keyboard needs drivers. i also betcha the drivers only exist on Windows.

awwwhh is there anything I can do? I dont really think it needs drivers for windows, it was plug and play on my windows and mac laptops. XP and Tiger OS's.
