    msi wind usb trouble

Hi, I have a msi wind u123 that runs windows xp and ubuntu 9.10. I'm having some troubles getting my usb keyboard to work after the system is running. See, when I first boot up and began to use it, after a while I decide I need my usb keyboard for some special purpose, I plug in my usb kb but it doesn't work. It doesn't show up in the logs or lsusb but if I plug it in when I first boot up it works fine until I unplug it and plug it back in at a later time.

All usb support fails if its not plugged in at boot up. All is good in windows land.

    Advice?

    Re: msi wind usb trouble

22 hours and no replies! No one knows why linux won't reconise newly connected usb devices after its running? I don't know what could be causing this.

Booting the recovery entry verifies that linux is recognising it. With the normal mode, it seems to have problems seeing any usb device except the builtin bluetooth device.
