On my keyboard I have a wheel which let's me control the volume, for some reason in Karmic when I use it it doesn't quite work properly. Whenever I use it, it changes the value of my PCM value to full and it then changes the level on the Master slider (watched it in alsamixer) I have to keep my PCM slider down by about 3dbs because otherwise I just get really wierd highpitched noise from my speakers. Is there a way to get the slider to only change the Master slider level?
I decided to remove pulse now I'm using alsa. So problem has been bypassed.
