Open all windows in center

By default all applications open up in upper left corner. Is there a way to set all applications to open up in the center?

The method i'm currently using is by individually setting windows to remember their last position in the 'special windows settings'. However, it would be nice if I could do that for all application in one setting.

if you are using compiz, you can change the options in the place windows settings

kwin allows you to use special window settings for all windows too. just leave window class and window role blank and everything blank and it will apply to all windows. you only need to change settings under geometry and adjust the position start initially or change placement to forced center.

Well that sucks, now it opens up even my menu's in the center, lol.

I guess I have to manually set everything... its no prob...

I found where its set: System Settings > Window Behavior > Advanced > Placement: Centered
