Linux for dummies is a very good descriptive book on gnome and kde desktops
between Ubuntu Hacks and Ubuntu Unleashed, and Official Ubuntu Book, which would you all recommend? (downloaded the free .pdf pocket guide)
ETA: something that focuses a bit on the terminal, i hope.
